I recently returned to this hotel after a previous great stay, and I’m so glad I did! It’s rare to find a place that continues to exceed expectations, but this one absolutely does. Since my last visit, they’ve expanded the hotel with a beautiful new pool and an inviting open space that adds even more charm to the property. The rooms, as always, are spotless clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are hands down the sweetest, most accommodating people I’ve encountered in hospitality. Every single person goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and valued. You’re not just another check-in here they make you feel special. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s a lovely, relaxing place to stay, and the price makes it all the more amazing. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Comfy beds nice showers, parking, smart tv. Close to everything. Nive view of the lagoon.

Excellent location across from the public pier and walking distance to Centro but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Nice outdoor communal spaces and very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is exceptionally located, right in front of the lagoon and to the public access. Room was very good. There is also a small outdoor pool to relax in the courtyard. If you want to have a quiet stay, with natural sightseeings, plants, birds and transparent water, Bacalar is the right place. As a bonus, there is a small village center, with a park, an ancient fortess, handcrafts and nice places to dine or have breakfast, all in a non-touristic environment. Far frome being overcrowded, quite the opposite, it remains a feeling of a small town with no hurriesBa.

Great staff, they give you towels for the lagoon. Great pool. Beds are very comfy, great water current in the shower with hot water. Close to a public lagoon part, close to the center area. Great value for money.

We had the most beautiful time there. Great room, so clean and the stuff extremely nice and helpful. Pool is open until 11/12 at night, that was so nice. Just 10min walking from the city center and right next to the lagoon.

The property is nice and staff was friendly helpful and accommodating, the rooftop is incredible and made the stay worth it. Also nice to have access to drinking water

Location is great for use of public dock across the street. Still short walk to town square. Nice bed. Wifi good in 2nd room.

Beautiful view and convenient location

The hotel was peaceful and nice, not on the lagoon like pictures misled me to believe.

This is a nice hôtel with everything you need . I like the rooftop particularly I also liked that the room has a small fridge . My room was number 9 and had a view . Some rooms have their windows on the corridor only . The staff was very nice and helpful . I did not have time to use their little plunge pool but it looked nice . I also like that you can refill you water bottle as much as you want too . Nice bar in front of the hotel and restaurant close by .
